AIDA Hellas announces the following competition
«Hellenic Freediving Pool Championship 2010»
This competition is organized by Freedivingschool with the support of the Municipality of Halandri Sports and Youth Organization.
It will take place in the "Nikos Perkizas" indoor pool, 150 Penteli Avenue (pool length is 25 meters). The competitions follows AIDA International rules and has AIDA Ranking status.
The Competition is on Sunday 18th of April 2010 and includes the following disciplines:
- 1) Static Apnea.
- 2) Dynamic Apnea.
- 3) Dynamic Apnea without fins.
Under «Downloads» you can find the competition rules (that you are supposed to know), and the Release form that you must sign and bring during your registration at the competition site on Saturday 17th of April at 15:00 at the pool area. You can also register on competition day until 09:00. Beyond this time registration is not posible and you won't be able to compete. The medical form must be signed and stamped by a doctor at least 6 months before the competition day (October 18th 2009) and must confirm that you are fit to freedive.
Under «Inlist» you can find tha names and nationalities of all athletes planning to compete and their fee payment status. You can also find their announcements, starting times and competition zones for each discipline.

Athletes interested to compete must:
1) Announce it by sending an email to pulianos@yahoo.com (or by calling Panos Lianos at +306944664684) stating: a) their intention to compete, b) their full name, c) their nationality, d) a contact phone number. This can be done until Monday 12th of April 2010
2) Pay the competition fee: For those coming from out of Athens, or out Athens and are not AIDA Hellas members, the fee is 20 Euros.
This amount must be sent to this bank account: Piraeus Bank, ÉÂÁÍ: GR05 0172 1480 0051 4804 0015 537, BIC code (SWIFT): PIRBGRAA, Beneficiary: Mitropoulos George. Make sure you mention your name and "Spring 2010". The fee must be paid by Monday 12th of April 2010. Only then your participation is guaranteed and the "ok" sign will be next to your name in the «inlist». Please, after paying the fee, also advise Panos Lianos by e-mail or telephone call.
3) Announce Performances:
All athletes must make their official performance announcements by Wednsday 14th of April 2010, to Panos Lianos (only) ba a telephone call at +306944664684 by 17:00 or by email at: pulianos@yahoo.com subject "Spring 2010". Announcements done after the above deadline will not be accepted.
There will be an athletes briefing and registration on Saturday 17th of April at 15:00 at the pool site. Your participation is highly advised. Please bring all the necessary documents.
